Astigmatism
This condition is common and causes blurred vision. It occurs when the cornea is irregularly shaped or sometimes because of the curvature of the lens inside the eye. This is treatable!
Hyperopia (Farsightedness)
This common condition is when nearby objects appear blurry but distant objects are clear. This condition can be treated with prescription glasses, contact lenses or LASIK.
Myopia (Nearsightedness)
This condition is also common and is when distant objects appear blurry but you are able to see close-up objects clearly. This condition tends to run in families and can develop gradually or rapidly. Treatment options include prescription glasses, contact lenses or LASIK.
Presbyopia (Aging Eyes)
This condition is due to age-related vision loss. While this condition is somewhat common, it can be treated with prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses or LASIK.
